Zumbi !
Haarlem, I feel the need to stick my oar in because you're coming over a bit militant.. ALL Fox DHX's have always had an adjustable bottom out air chamber. Mine is a 2005 as are my 40's. I've forgotten more about suspension than you'll ever know. I've been racing on full sussers for 12yrs and how many times do you think my suspension has bottomed out over the years??? It's supposed to bottom out. That's what arms and legs are there to compensate for. All suspension has limits. As for not getting features in DH tracks that will bottom a bike out, bollocks! I've got a shade under 11inchs and still get to it's limits on a regular basis, at Hamsterley! My 40's blew a seal in the cartridge at the Fort Bill endurance DH after 6 runs, I carried on racing and they bottomed on the last two jumps EVERY TIME after that, and god knows where else, I done a another 9 runs on buggered 4 year old fork which had only been serviced once previously! And it's still running fine, as is my shock. And I don't have factory support. I agree that riding smooth will put less stress on stuff but it's built to handle a hell of a lot. Probably more than you can throw at it..
Rant over.

Are comments like these gonna come Nathans way if this happens in a race? I hope not. I thought the idea was to support, not criticise a 15 year old boy.
Although i totally agree with what gadmack is saying i must admit i'm running shitty marzochi 66s the even shittier RCVs versions and have never ever bottom them out accept for when am pinning over rock gardens or trying to clear hamsterlys mad road gap to landing on the flat, ok i totally agree 1 or more bottoms out in a race run are totally ok but for simple big hits I think maybe this setup might be a little bit off, saying that am only guesting that this shredder is simply hucking
Ah! That was supposed to be a reply to my earlier comment...I hate how computers do that!!
Anyway, cheers Olly!
