I have respect for the man that sculpted these wonderful mounds of soil into awesome jumps.

If I happened to stumble upon these jumps by accident while exploring a trail, I'd have to pinch myself to make sure I didn't die and go to heaven.
I just like having good trails to ride! I've been building here off and on for the last couple years, just decided to do them right this time. It's frustrating trying to keep people off of them before they are packed though. Looks like you don't have to deal with that at your trails.
You would think so seeing there in my backyard...but I have on occasion came home and random kids have been there. But ya it is really nice having them there right when you wake up ahah
Some randoms at your house, lol. Man that would suck, even if they are cool peps. Id be pissed and my folks would be to haha.
Well shit Tex good luck with keeping the trails looking awesome, great job man!

I can not imagine how much time has been invested into these perfect jumps. Incredible attention to detail. Well done.
LOL @ random kids in your yard Cob. You need to get a chasing stick!!

graet job, how did you make they so smooth, can anyone tell me how to stop dirt sticking to my shovel when i hardpack?
i tryed, didnt work, but i found out that if i put a piece of carpet on my jump , then i can hardpack it with out the dirt sticking
That's weird, WD 40 works fine here on the California dirt...that carpet trick sound like a really good idea, I'll have to try that
Get yourself a wide headed, flatbacked stainless steel shovel, similar to the ones construction workers use. I've used them in heavy clay and no sticking!
yeah in new zealand the clay gets real tacky. i use the carpet trick alot aswell. also due you could try wetting the jump just a bit then chucking dust at it. it fills all the cracks and once it dries you can then use a slap and slide technique with the back of the spade. works well.
these are some nice trails. Tex you should write a blog article about your techniques, you've got skills bruv.
