the bike is a an older FOES DHS MONO ,there is no such thing as a 3:1

foes newest model of the dhs is the 2:1 http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/1646784/ ------here is a picture of the newer foes ,from my favorites

whoever told you the bike is a 3:1...is fried
