the old one was over built for its intended use. it was more like a free ride hardtail than a dirt jumper. The new one is lighter and more nimble.

^it was orginally not intended for dj when they were designing it

why did they replace it with a dirt jumper then?

flag ziegele (Apr 10, 2009 at 13:06)
cause the riders liked it for dj and they do work very well

I seem to remember the description of the old jackal frame specifically including dirt-jumping as its primary use.

what im trying to say is it was more of a freeride ht and then they decided to make it ther dj bike to cause it rode good on the djs

This is his slalom setup. The one you have there is his DJ setup. And then he also has a park setup.

Actually this is his slopestyle build. FR 2350s, front brake routed through the head tube, Holzfellers, etc. The singlespeed version is his dirt jump bike. I saw the original post on blackbox labs.
