This is a cable brake. It performs better than any mech brakes because it has a spider web cable and some friction-less bearings in the caliper that are acutally use in space ship industry in order to be able to get to the moon faster than ever. Nom'saying?

Plus, the fork is not a rigid. This is a prototype developped by Rigid Ass Corp. that absorbs everything you throw it. This is like..... hummm.... I don't know....

Painting a brake cable don't seem to be a very good idea... Look at the spec on the other pic , their are shadow component already colored
