HDR is three exposures of the same scene combined. The rider would have been in one exposure and the other two without the rider, seeing as it would be impossible to get three exposures without the rider moving.

i dont think its POD worthy at all, to be honest loading docks are max 3.5 feet it honestly to me looks like a bail dont get me wrong as stated above the HDR and shit if perfect, but the trick is f*ckin shit, it doesnt even look like a one footed table. Whatever ill get -props for this put atleast its MY f*ckIN OPINION

its not photoshopped, its not like he use a whle bunch of settings to make it like that, its an HDR, which is actually super hard to make, props to whoever took it

Canada is a big place dude. It snowed here in September and we just had another blizzard last week. That makes 8 months. Should be going away now though. Awesome photo, but no reason to move to Canada.
Well, in Montreal Canada it hasn't snowed since mid march and our first snowfall of the season was in november. Just goes to show how big Canada really is and how diverse our climate is.
Here in Vancouver I have been riding all year round, aside from a whole 3 weeks where I had to ride park and street because the trails had a bit of snow on them... and even then I still rode them haha. We had 1 week of solid snow, and then another small snowstorm a month later... Thank jebus I own a snow plow for my truck and made lots of money haha.
Picture is excellent. Trick is... half ass decent? Seems a bit sloppy haha.

Good shot. I agree with comments on both sides. It's a good shot and perfect timing, the trick is styled perfect, but I think you over sharpened it. Either way, I think it still deserves POD.

I like the contrast between the shadow and the sun. Amazing clouds, too. The bike lying in the background complements his bike. Excellent composition. Great photo.

Not exactly sure why this is POD. POD should be based on how good the riding is, not on the quality of the picture. It's like turning it into a photoshop contest instead of riding. Sorry if I offended anyone.
I Disagree as well seeing as it is PICTURE of the day. because it is all about capturing what this sport is about. Just enjoying it wether your hucking huge, flying round berms, or just out having a good time. doesn't it look like he is having a gorgeous time. that to me is what POD's are about.

I agree it is a nice shot, just too much tweaking for my liking. Some of these pictures are messed with so much that they become surreal - like this one.

great HDR image but not pod worthy the trick is not done properly and the rider looks disoriented in the air let alone if he's going to land it. nothing about the rider i'm sure he is good but this really is not pod worthy

The rider looks cartoonish. A little heavy on the photoshopping. You have to be careful when using HDR images because they can look a bit cheesy sometimes. Some parts of the picture are good like the asphalt and the sky but the school in the background is not appealing. could have been composed a bit better or cropped to increase the impact of the photo.
Looks like HDR but since it is an action shot not sure how that is possible other than editing on computer.
