Fixed gear bikes look cool, and I'm glad a bunch of wierdos are riding bikes, but doing tricks and all is pretty lame IMO...

well this site is called pinkbike. not pink-dh-bike or pink-dj-bike or pink-bmx-bike its pinkbike and biking comes in many. myself i do not like fixies, i think they are f*ckn dangerous but who are we to say what some one should be into. i stll respect this guy for riding a bike, at least hes not on a skateboard!!!

i would have to say that there is a difference between a fixie and a track bike. technically they are pretty much the same, but fixie is a whole different thing IMO. it's like saying that mountain biking started in Marin, but downhill started in BC
