flag sickwhip (May 26, 2009 at 5:20)
Definitely more park oriented, but it could handle some jumps too.

lol...

ever heard of 853 renolds

also, I own one of these, and have ridden several Dobermans. from my experience the manifesto rides much better.

it has great geo.

...and 250 is a VERY different bike.

Hey man, your bike is sweet. I was reading some of the comments, and I don't want to look like a poser when I ask this, but I've never heard of 853 renolds. Care to explain?

Brandon,
No worries. Reynolds is a brand that makes tubing for lots of applications, aerospace, bikes...all kinds of stuff. Super high end. 853 is one of the levels of Steel tubing that they do. Basically, they are butted tubes. So the walls are thicker at the ends where the stress and welds are, rather than straight gauge (Straight = thick and heavy) Chromoly tubing that most of the aforementioned bikes use.
This link shows the increased strength to weight ratios for Reynolds tubesets.

Thanks for asking, as I promise you're not the only one who didn't know. ;0)

LBS ordered them in from Norco. (They distribute Goodridge http://www.goodridge.co.uk/mountain-bike-brake-lines.php) Not cheap though. The hose and fitting kits will run about $325.
