haha, thanks man... I actually have taken a bit of a break since dirtopia... think this is the only pic I've put up since... well, besides the pics of me & it's quite an old one... did a shoot with Malcolm for an interview & this is one of the angles we weren't gonna use, so decided to put it up... folded & went for a shoot yesterday again haha

in my opinion there are much better pictures on this site. nothing against eric palmers skill, but he's proof that a bit of brown nosing will get you POD round here...
I agree with you that there are better pics than this one on here, but I didn't choose this & if you think me being friendly to friendly ppl is brown nosing, by all means... think that, but while most of the younger guys are trying to be all hardcore & cool & start shit with eachother I've made friends with quite a few of the guys on here... & 1 of them happens to be a mod, but the other 10 or so aren't. So it seems that there might be a bit of jealousy in ur comment? or just plain bitchiness, which isn't lacking on here either.
in not trying to start anything... and why would I be jealous when i dont upload anything close enough to pod standards. im simply saying that rarther than the moderators actually bothering to look for a decent picture anymore... they wait for people to ask if there pic can be POD, or they simply look through there friends list like in this case and go "o that one looks ok i guess". and hey presto, this is the result.

I agree that POD should be chosen a lil more carefully... number of favs would have pics of 14yr old girls with their tits hanging out, but something like that would work better... maybe get a panel of photographers to choose?
Well, before you pass stupid uninformed comments maybe u want to take a look at yesterdays pinkbike daily page... They don't look in my albums or other better pics would have made it... so if ur not trying to start anything finish it now before you pass anymore stupid comments about me or my work or the way anyone runs this place (intentional or not), coz for someone with a lot of advice & criticism u don't do much for this site.

And why? I'm curious to see why you think it screams point and shoot. Is it because of the motion blur? I know why that is there, any photographer would. I'm interested to see your reasons for thinking it was shot with a point and shoot. Prithee, enlighten us.

Yeah, they moved it more in the open & messed it up in the middle coz they had to cut it in half & weld it together & now it has a wave in the middle & is getting really rusted & dodgy, but still rideable.
more epic than a perectly composed picture of a double whip??? give the man some respect!!
