Dam thats what you call a Rock Garden! Great pic
i remember the days when if someone suggested riding a bicycle down something like that i would have just assumed they were joking.. oh the joys of downhill
This is one of the best PODs I've seen in a while, I mean it just has so much more feel to it and this sense of Aw and badass-ness. Great work for an amazing POD
That looks like an insane rock section! looks tough too
The colors look awesome aswell and really nice bike!

Great use of the terrain!

Nice colors in the pic. But this is one of those beautiful places where just because you can ride it, doesn't mean you should.
I'd happily have that garden in my backyard, it would do more good than a few tomato's the size of golf balls
thats a pretty legit rock garden
thats a pretty legit rock garden
if it would have rained like it did sunday it would be impossible to ride, it was also relative short...
Damn dude, that's hot!!! Love the shot, trail, lighting & colours on you work really well to make you pop. Props to both of you for this... def got my vote for POD, got all the ingredients!!!

I'm pretty sure last time I saw the saint ad, it was mirrored so the rider was coming in the same direction as this guy!
I though it was the same photo from the thumbnail!

is it a mark of being clever to analyse wether or not a picture has been photoshopped ????
all great pictures nowadays are post-treated. As no captor in the world can capture complete beauty of lights and shadows...
So why not forgetting about the ability to analyse if there's posttreatment or not.... This drives me crazy each time to read such comments

one external flash behind the big tree in the middle, the other flash on the right (not on the photo anymore), posttreated but not photoshopped
thanks for that. i appreciate the photog's sharing their info. great photo. beautiful site. sublime experience captured on film.
still not sure what "photo shoped" is though. jk

Photoshop is not just a photo altering program in Case you didn't know konajoe94! Photoshop can also be used for post processing and many pros use it for that!!

Now that is what i call good use of the terrain,,, i mean look at that, it looks like that is not even a trail... just straight rocks!

My pro retouch friends are laughing at the PShop, I'm kind of gutted but I think they might have a point. Check the shadows on his legs and shoulders and lack of flash on the rocks.
Worth looking a little closer maybe?
Worth looking a little closer maybe?
that are shadows of the frame caused by the external flashes from the left and right... man, everytime someone has to come, claiming it would be photoshopped...
its like everyone thinks these photos are some kind of riddle that needs to be discovered. and by somehow identifying it as photoshopped gives them a sense of insight or or self accreditation that in a way belittles the photo itself. hey guess what, michaelangelo used artisans to carve most of the statue of david. does it make it any less a piece of art?
Look really good deserves pod but there has definitely been some digital editing to the photo Negative props here i come
Nice picture but please...Make up different story. I am quite sure that rider is simply cut off from the other picture...Just take a look on shadows of helmet and frame on his shin and right arm. There is no sun in this forest, otherwise wood and stones will be bright(as rider is). Pay attention on proportion in size. That's it...
envy? once again for you, external flashes were used to pop me out, like allready mentioned before, the shadows on my body are caused by the flash from the right, and are shadows of the frame. I uploaded another photo, and in the next days there will follow a few more, nothing is manipulated, I rode this trail, WORD!
Have had to check. It all looks like that, and its not only my point of view...Rider is just too bright and it really seems like a fake. Sorry about it. But if you have managed this rocky garden - I do appreciate that.

must of been a little slippery haha, but nice pic, its not something with a huge trick but its one of those pics you dont get very often just nice relaxing and scenic well sorda
tell me how you get this opinion, I explained it often enough, ask every other good photographer, and he will confirm you that this is not shopped
Some photos are blatantly "photoshopped;" cut and past, drawn, manipulated,...whatever.
I'll take his (your) word for this picture. Flash work and postprocessing, that's composing and developing, ...not "photoshopping."
Regardless, it is not like anyone is trying to "fool" us here. This isn't a guy dropping a 10 story building to flat, or gapping the English channel. This picture IS possible and I believe it is real.
Fantastic picture!
Thank you for sharing it.

Great photo! It reminds me of what I love about riding my favorite trails: being in spectacular wilderness. Thanks.
Like it , Like it ! I'm lucky enough to live not too far away from there and the place is full of these sort of trails ... a real hidden treasure ! This pic does it real justice.
