Personally I find its wayy too close for my taste, i like to actually see whats happenning in my photos. Gotta admit thats a sweet paintjob though!

thats epic. nice lighting. im assuming you were not quite this close just used the zoom? either way really sweet. ive always wondered though dont the riders get pissed if you use a massive flash while there on there race run? cas thatd be hella distracting in a tech section
Its pretty hard to fake fish-eye with a zoom. You just don't get the effect. This guy was crazy close to the bike.
you also would need and extremely high shutter speed to get it that clear from that angle. props to the photographer
i have to say it is 100x better than putting a watermark over the middle of the photo which some people do, so you should be lucky with what you get!!
why am I lucky? it's not my pic. but I'm just saying the water mark looks really bad in my opinion and ruins it with the cartoonish look it gives.
you are lucky cos he uploaded the photo to share with people, he didnt have to and the watermark stops people nicking it off here and passing it off as their own. also if it bothers you that badly just put you hand over the 'cartoonish' watermark and stop complaining!

It's a good pic but I have a Nikon D70s and I could get the same shot if you gave me a fisheye. I just think there could be better pods.

i don't like that at all tbh, there ain't much special other than how close the picture looks, IMHO not pod worthy.
Well deserved POD in my opinion. Sick Rider, Sick Track, Sick Photo...and on flat pedals! Clips are for kooks.

nothing special for me on this picture...is this the first time you guys that you've ever seen a fish eye picture? It seems so, there are hundreds of pictures like this and many of them are even better. I personally hate to see the flash in frame. I know it's very difficoult no hide it with such a wide angle, but c'mon this is not POD at all

Well exposed and focus is nice in the center, an props for getting so close too - but not POD material in my opinion... The flash is distracting in the upper right; and there's not really any "important" visual information around the edges (what is there is distorted or blurred, and does not really add to the image).
I think a judicious crop of the center of the image would work much nicer. Great attempt though.

This photo isn't well executed at all. The glare, blurriness and uncentered focus of attention ruin the shot.
