Out of focus!
What looks out of focus to you?
Looks good to be.
The Mountain Cycle logo on the frame is hard to shoot, as its reflective for the most part, and creates a ghosting effect.

The bike looks good and all, but IDK it just has this fuzz to it. Like at the top of the fork, the red logo and the prowler mx on the front tire. It just looks a bit out of focus. All the part pics look great! Did you take the pics?
J-Brantley,
Yeah, i see what you mean. Some of it is ghosting from the lights, but they could be shot in a higher f/stop; future reference.
Yeah, i took the shots. We got a nice photo setup for at the office, so i have been experimenting with that a fair bit. Pretty nice man!

I was going to tell you that about the f/stop thing, lol. Cuz you probably just left the f/stop the same from shooting the parts shots. Yeah dude the shots look really nice. I am stoked on pinkbike productivity lately. Did you go to the US OPEN? oh and what camera do you use?
mmmm, that's pretty, the headtube looks huge though, i dont see the point in 1.5", 1 1/8" ones barely give up as it is
Agreed. I have a 1.5 on my Jamis. just started to get used to the concept, and now I LOVE the look. But now, many DH/FR manufacturers have switched to 1 1/8 to 1 1/2" tapered steerer tubes!?! they just look silly imo (which is right;]). Not sure of any logical reason for it other than "destruction of components interchangeability". Another example is fox's 15mm thru axle; did we really need something between standard dropout and 20mm thru ?!!? yet another consideration when you go to buy a wheel, fork, etc.... This is simply implementing change... for the sake of making change, without a purpose.
i know what you mean, apparently 1.5" has less flex on a single crown fork, which is fair enough, but the whole tapered thing is ridiculous, it just makes less things interchangable. It's supposed to make it so you can get a stem to fit and the for stiffness of 1.5, but when you think about it, there's only a VERY limited amount of forks you can get to fit a frame like that if you want to upgrade. You're pretty much limited to rockshox, and that's more limited than the amount of 1.5 stems you can get. Same with the fox 15mm axle too IMO. Pointless.

Does anybody else think of the Gary Fisher Fat Possum. Almost an identical single pivot swingarm setup. My 06 Fat Possum had a significant side to side play in the rear, how can you ensure this will not with only one pivot, more of AM than FR for sure. However, an awesome looking fun bike I just wouldn't trust It off of too many drops.
Don´t know why, but Domain´s always make bikes look so low end in my opinion. It would look cool with a Fox 36 though.
