Sorry but i feel It does, It doesn't blend into the background at all it just looks out of place rather then awesome. Sorry to go into such pointless detail about a name tag but just sharing some thoughts!

Thats the point of it harry. So people cant claim my photos as their own blah blah as i put a fair wad of effort into it. Its designed to stand out whatever the background and show that it was me that took the photo

Yeh i know It's a good idea I was just trying to say you could make it look even better I'm sure.
You don't need to mention effort, effort doesn't make things good. And standing out doesn't always make things good either. Don't point out the obvious. I was saying you can make it stand out in a better way etc.

What do you know about photography? Not that thats really related. As its the viewer that deems whether they like the photo or not, ie. you, so fair enough as its your opinion!

Effort, thats why I do it. Try lugging a big ass camera, a heavy as feck tripod, 2 flashes and a shedload of batteries in a rucksack everywhere, then take into account i have to cycle to the train station as i cant get lifts. Thats bad enough as it is, then the weight on my back from the rucksack.. Its alot of effort and I like to brand the photo as my own.

Its designed to stand out, so people instantly know its one of my photos, im sure if youve got any kind of imagination you can forget about the logo.

Most of all, its because there are people on this site (and the internet in general) that take your pictures and claim them as their own, ive had it done on here a few times, so its to show that its mine.

The actual logo is designed to stand out whatever the background colour is, so on some photos its really stands out, some it doesnt so much. But white lettering with a blue outline means it will show up on anything, so yes it stands out, but thats the point!

I dont want to have to change where the logo is and its colours for each photo as when i process the photos i do them in batches (apart from the odd one or two which i edit individually), the software allows me to put the logo in the corner on all of them, so i cant just change it for each, also its normally 50+ photos so thats more effort and time than its worth.
