Its not actually, if you went out to ride on a DH track it wouldnt be classed as racing...

i had a shot of a road bike once and it required no effort to get to 30 mph

and as for the tyres.
they are about as much use as a chocolate firegaurd

doesnt matter how fast you go. go do a tour, its amazing how long they can keep going

Personally i like riding road bikes, its fun being able to go really fast with minimal effort, there's nothing wrong with it
