The 225 evo. Expect big things from this frame, cos the r&d that's gone into getting it perfect has been tough gruling work, all over the world, race after race. And i think they've got it spot on now, let's remember the 222,innovative at the time, but intrusive to those ankle bones hitting the swing arm. Then the 223,this is when things got serious Peaty on podium after podium,Minnarrr doing his best to keep up with Dr Steve. By the way Peaty took his first overall on this frame, let's not forget that.In short the 223 was massive the world over, from Missy Giove, matti lehikonen, and Minnarr on the Global team along with Peaty this frame was epic. Then the 224(still retailing)with Peaty at the helm took another overall,Minnarr had long since moved to the Haro Lee Dungarees team, riding a re-badged M1,and became World Champ in his first year,on a multi linkage bike. Now multi-linkage bikes were everywhere and had been for a while, but no one done it as good as Jeff Steber and his Intense outfit. This was years back though, and now orange were looking to corner the market with the un vieling of the 224's son the 225 evo (pictured),multilink single pivot forward thinking at it's best, and i along with 10's of thousands of other bike enthusiasts think they've cracked it.This bike in all out race guise is deffo gonna be a contender, make no mistake. Is gold coming to the steel city.
