The bike looks too cluttered. I think its the fork that might be doing it.

each to their own.

Id run intense 909 tyres, 2010 boxxers, charge spoon saddle, dmr zip grips, and xtr crankset. Id probably end up slamming on a set of green subrosa rims too! and most likely some nice wide white 760mm bars like my deity's Smile

You can't run XTR cranks on a frame with an 83mm BB shell. Your options are kinda limited with that shell size. Gravitys, Saints, Atlas FR, Diabolus...

Can you not do the mod on XTR cranks that you can with XT cranks to allow a 68/73 to fit a 83 mm shell?

Nope, because the XTR does not use the same spindle or left crank arm interface as the XT M770.
