wow thats an awesome shot, that river with those tree's looks sick!
ya we all know that heaven isnt there, its whistler (may-september). when its not one of those months, heaven runs away and hides
Nice Picture! I would prefer some airtime for pod, but this just looks great. What freeriding is all about. Epic.
This right here is why I love mountain biking. I haven't found as much beauty on this earth as I have while biking and this picture shows just that. flawless POD!
Ah bru, mazing shot. Is there anywhere to find this picture but bigger? I pretty much want to make it my desktop forever.
If you look really hard, you can see the Saskquatch giving Doerfling the finger from across the river.
this is an alright POD, yeah anyone can turn, they should make some better POD's tho, neg prop me all you want.
Hey. I photoshopped this to show some kids what tilt-shifting is:

I can remove it if you want.

looks photoshoped enhanced for color and contrast, but looks like everything on that cliff with the rider is real.
i cant wait till i move to BC, biking stuff like this everyday.

i hate how people say a pod is photoshopped like its a bad thing, most of them are.... But alot of people have the misconception that photoshop means, put a photo on top of another photo to make it look like theres something cool in the picture...

If you are going to scream "photoshop," please share what you mean. What is fake about it? I've been to that area. And that is pretty much what it looks like. (when I was there it was a bit drier) It's a spectacular place, and this photo captures it well. (and no, I don't know the photographer)
Great shot! Is that around Willie's? It is the Chilcotin? One of my favourite trails in around Willie's. (it also has one of the best bike shops, too!)
Great combination of scenery and action. Nice colour, too. Sometimes harsh sun is hard to photograph in, but it works great here. Well done.
It all makes me want to go riding!
Thanks for sharing.

I think is Bella Coola in BC. Check this one I uploaded a few days ago from Sterling Lorence. I think is the same place... http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/3453222/
About an hour west of Williams Lake. That shot of Sterl's is in roughly the same place (just down the river a bit), but it's not near Bella Coola. It's a mistake on the part of Bike. Bella Coola is about 4 hours from there, although the road you take to get to Bella Coola is nearby.
There's been some great POD's lately, but I think this has got to be my favourite one. Colour is amazing, Props to the photographer.

Pretty sure it's a Nikon D3. Can't get a hold of Wellburn right now, but that's what he usually uses.

Aspen trees are yellow only in the fall... so what took so long to get the picture out? or did it take that long to photoshop it?
