actually it is 2010, even check the site for 09. there is none this color! and also, i bought it from local specialized retailer and he told us it was 2010!

Bummer dude, I work at a "specialized retailer" and please trust me, I work with a bunch of dumb shits. Whoever told you it was a 2010 was either one of these dumb shits or screwing with you to get his lousy commission. It's an 08, we had a demo and retail model of this exact bike at my shop. Anyways this should explain all your color combos and "the golden link"

also we have paperwork that has serial number and says it is 2010, just keptcolors, the headset and seat post are different colors also.

dude its the exact same bike of the SPECIALIZED web site..
IDK why they have the 2008 Pitch Comp on that one website all Specialized has relesed so far is all the 29 inch wheeled bikes..

take a picture of where it says 2010 or take it into a bike shop and use the serial code, cuz it looks exactly like the 08 to melol

They have a blue and a brown for 2010. The Pitch Pro is either yellow or bronze for 2010 as well.
