flag markw (Jun 18, 2009 at 21:56)

if there from the 1st batch u might need a new rebound damper just check if your ending stroke rebound works , if it dosnt ring the people u got em off n theyl get them fixed fro free or send u the bits to fix them

Where'd you get the EX1750 with the 12x150 spacing?
  • + 1
flag markw (Jun 18, 2009 at 21:54)
Back in '07 they came with a 12x150 hub on the Ironhorse Sunday World Cup bikes. That's where mine came from.

flag seraph (Jun 19, 2009 at 11:42)
Lucky bastard! Does the hub look like a 240s or is it just a repainted 440fr?

flag markw (Jun 19, 2009 at 19:00)
I was told it's a modified 340. But honestly I don't know anything except that it's definetly NOT a 440 painted white.

flag seraph (Jun 20, 2009 at 10:03)
That makes sense. The 340 in 12x150 is slightly lighter than the 440 in the same setup anyway.

Well, A week or two ago, i went to order my 2010 boxxer..i also ordered an e13 ali direct mount stem with it....so next day my stem arrives..and im like well wheres my fork? so we call up norco..or lambert whoever we ordered from...and they said it would be put on the next shipment out...next day still nothing so we call again and they tell us that sram isnt allowing and 2010 boxxers to be sold anymore because they need to be quaruntined(sorry on spelling i dunno if thats right) anyways..they wouldnt give a reason..so we called back about a few days ago and we were told they are having issues with the whole rebound system blowing out the bottom of the fork...they also appararantly leak alot of oil....so thats just what ive been told.

Why the semi slick?

flag markw (Jun 25, 2009 at 15:25)
90% of what I ride on here is hardpack. The SS rolls and accelerates way faster then full-knob tires.

I also have a set of Maxxis 3C Minions that I use when these tires aren't cutting it. But they only come out once or twice a season.
