tbh if you are on about buying a 2nd hand fork there will be no warranty anyways. the warranty will only apply to the origional buyer no matter what it is, you will find this on anything you buy in life

you have voided the warrenty, the way to not void it is let a regestered dealer or shop do it for you. That way your warranty will still be in tact, but you do have to pay
