guys they fixed the snapping problem already! its time to forget about it. kona is one of the most well known bike companys out ther and they got ther from building good quality bikes, they made a mistake on some of ther frames for like 2 years and its fixed now and people still like to diss kona, when i saw that new plaid stuff i thought it was legit but everyone was like thats so gay or ugly, if it had a big TLD or FOX on it u guys would have been like dude thats so sikk!!!! my point is kona dissing needs to stop

how do kona copy other people's designs? Kona have had the same linkage design for years on most of their bikes, their cowan ds/bass has a concentric BB which is not exactly common but great for single speed, and they also now have the Magic Link on the coilair. Please point out where they copied that from!!!

It's a jump bike... very few of them actually have radically different designs (if it doesn't have a rear shock, then it doesn't have pivots/leverage ratios etc.)

Also frankly the shonky looks nothing like either of those BLK MRKTs - the Riot has thicker tubing and square tubed chain and seat stays, and the only similarity the shonky has with the mob is that they both have round tubing (not exactly copying a frame design). Plus the shonky was designed to be used for streeet, and less for dirt jumping, unlike the riot/mob
"look like" means nothing in the bike world. Geometry, technology and manufacturing processes are what matter, and what sets each bike apart from each other.

they may not have the same intended use but you can easily spend equally as much on either types of bike, be it DJ or FR/DH.

when u break a bike, it means u've ridden like its suppose to.. Thus why you never see lots of other frames breaking. The other riders are too busy dissing kona to really ride there bikes.
