I got somethin to say, i had a crash that involved bending my wheel and even forks like you dont wanna know. i was wearing this helmet, which is the cheapest dh helmet Bell sells. i slammed face first into the ground upon impact and cracked my helmet in three places. THe good thing-i didnt even have a concussion, igot up and walked away. these helmets work!

even though it is not the most expensive and nicest helmets out there, it still saved you from getting a concussion and maybe breaking your teeth. i say that these helmets are great, although i hardly ever used it.
