loook out
It's time to unclip buddy
And clipping in isn't stupid, its usually much better, just in the OTB crashes, you get owned more than usual.
Sick shot love the angle... Props to the rider even though hes wipig out and the photographer for taking this good pic
ouch..... perfect timing but..... ouch.... props to photographer and.... get well greetings to the rider^^....
all in all a cool pod...but painfull

OOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNED lol thats why you dont ride clipped. I wish it was a sequence so you could watch the bike pumble him lol sadistic but not my fault.
yeah but it's a reflex, you would do it too you know!
but you can roll it out immediately after touching the ground with your fingers though..
that's how I do it, I suppose
EDIT: didn't see he was wearing clicks! that's gonna hurt, but with a bit of luck he can hop on the bike again after it roll over him haha

you're so right! it's just reflex and instict to protect your head and cushion the fall. but at the same time, that is how broken wrists and shoulders happen. i hope this guy was ok though.
He was being sarcastic, he means putting your hands out & breaking your wrists is better than not putting them out & breaking your neck. Personally I'd rather go the same way as bramiezz... hands out & use them to get into a roll & not just slam my head or shoulder into the ground & try & roll from there...
Looks like he's been watching too much Bikerfox
Glad he was OK after this. Perfectly timed shot. Props guys

He was fine his head helped him to stop, he said he thought it was a table and forgot it was a triple
[Reply]
Is that triple from that POD not too long ago? Either way, this is a fail on so many levels.....
1. You're semi-clipped in, good luck.
2. You are about to break your wrists.
3. LOL @ you trying to hit this with an XC bike and a backpack.
4. Are you wearing elbow/arm pads? LOL
5. Despite the hundreds of dollars you spent on protective equipment, you are about to break yourself.
6. Your seat may or may not hit you in the face.
7. You are straight up f*cked!!
To the photographer: You are incredible. Thank you for taking this picture!!
Faved for epic-ness!!

How the hell do you do that on a tiny jump like that?!?! Be really smooth if he pulled it into a forward roll tho lol
[Reply]
its ok dont worry he is just pulling a no handed front flip, he'll whip the bike round in time for the landing no problem.
he does them that low to the ground all the time!
(errm, i think anyways)

All 3 flashes didnt go off until he was in the air, you can tell which ones will make this triple and who wont, so i new roughly when to take the shot shame i didnt get the next one its where he bounced on his head.
He was fine and the bike, he winded himself and then him and his mate went looking for the XC course.
[Reply]
There are three flashes one this side. I normally take the shot earlier when they are taking to the air but i could see this guy was going to crash and burn so i waited
[Reply]
I DO USE a Leatt, when I was 17 I risked badly with my MX bike...
;-)
I'm 43 now, still walking and crashing.

Mistaking the camera's flash for a low flying UFO, Bob goes evasive and hits the dirt screaming "NOT AGAIN YOU B**TARDS!!"
Great shot minus the flashes... Too distracting for me...

The flashes are not normally in the shot most people are 6 foot high by this point and you dont see the flashes

Many think he may have f*cked his wrists. I think that at the point the pic is taken he would have enough forward momentum to land on his back, that backpack may have helped a bit.
someone may have said something similar, I can't be bothered to read all the comments.

Should have dropped your seat and you wouldn't have broke your collar bone.. At least you might get some dust on your pads...
because you can go faster with clips, you control the bike more, get more power out of your peddle strokes and it is all round easier, unless this happens...
[Reply]
if he has super strenght in his quads he could pull the bike from this postion back to his hands and ride like nothing happend
or
he could do a handstand and whip over and land back on the bike haha

it would totally make my day if he did a hand stand still clipped in and flipped over and kept going i would praise him
[Reply]
is he trying a barrel roll coz if so thats stupid this guy is xc and no slopestlers or freerider (to my knowledge) have done one and they would be so much better than this guy at trix
pretty sure that is most likely a fault of clips and it gonna look bad in the long run 2 seein he still clipped in haha
