Thanks. I am loving this bike. I am starting to catch on to grinding the two-6's and it is so much fun. Great geo on this frame, and I got a chain tensioner on the drive side, so the rear wheel doesn't slide in the dropouts. Finally dialed after sooooooo much work.

That is fair. Both bikes feel extremely different and both have different purposes. It is actually kinda weird going back and fourth between the two.
  • + 0
flag PBPphotog (Jul 10, 2009 at 12:51)
*Forth, not fourth. That would imply you would go back and then to a 4th (of who knows what), instead of going back and forth between them.

flag recklessness (Jul 10, 2009 at 12:52)

what rides better for park?
  • + 2
flag recklessness (Jul 10, 2009 at 13:47)
Hands down the T-Bird is better geo for park. It has a lower BB and it's a bit shorter. It feels like shit on DJs though, which is why the Vajesty rocks!!

nice i like, i like the eastern mtbs more than the bmx's. what are the fork DJ1?
  • + 1
flag recklessness (Jul 16, 2009 at 7:35)
I hate Eastern 20" bikes, but oddly enough I really like this bike. The fork is a lowered 4X with a custom 20mm thru axle peg mount. Try and find another Eastern that doesn't have the stock Eastern cranks. You pretty much can't. This bike is more dialed than people realize.

Ben: You will need a 6" spindle. Attention

Lew: It took me forever to get this thing working perfectly, but it is an incredible bike to ride now. Turns out I also really like grinding shit!!

hi mate, do you still have the custom peg mount or could you get one made up?!
  • + 1
flag recklessness (Oct 22, 2009 at 6:12)
Still have it. Just make one. Piece of axle, bolted on with bolt for peg. Easy.
  • + 1
flag s-r-o (Nov 2, 2009 at 17:42)
lol that doesnt make it any more easy to understand what you've done, im running dj1's so im guessing i can do it exactly how you have, if you could show me exactly what you've used that'd be cool, ie) have you used a whole 10mm axle from one side to the other through the holes that the allenkey would go in orrr?! lol sorry to be a pain i just really wanna try this out cheers.
  • + 1
flag recklessness (Nov 3, 2009 at 4:58)
The normal bolt is replaced with a piece of axle that is bolted on. If that doesn't make sense to you, then this will probably not end well. Here is a pic of the mount, good luck.
