Really raked! Too much travel with the 40s I think. I'm still getting the frame when it comes out though!

Too short shock.. no?
  • + 1
flag mikeyridesbikes (Jul 16, 2009 at 12:46)
No lol. 3 shock sizes can be fitted, each giving 2 different amounts of travel depending on where the shock is bolted in on the frame. Quite a sick setup IMO

I know that, but there´s a specific front shock mount for each shock size, and it does not seem our friend here is doing it the right way, haha!
The head-angle is like 62` this way!

Well the bike's on a slope and Fox 40s are huge so that will rake it out a bit. If I'm not mistaken he is part of the Swiss Scott manufacturers/test riders so I'm sure he has got it set up correctly. Can't wait for them to come out, I'm so getting one.

Any word on what colours they will come in and prices buckow?

I don't know prices but the FR10 will be a Grey frame and purple anodizing and graphics, the fr20 is brown with gold anodizing and graphics and the FR 30 will be a bright green and white.

Nice! What about the frame only version?

I'm looking for either black/grey maybe with some red decals. White/black would be cool too. Just cause I'm a bit of a tart and I don't wanna mess up my colour scheme Razz

the is a slope bike, why the 40's ?

It can be set up as a slope bike or a freeride bike. In that setup it has a 335mm bb height and a 64° head angle. Not exactly slope bike geo in that configuration.
