Slipped a pedal pedaling for a double so i was hanging over the bars as the front whell cased an sent me over them. Thats what i think cracked it because when it snapped the lower part of the crack was already dull with aluminum oxide so i was riding flat out for a week on a cracked frame with what i though was a knackered headset when infact it was my headtube creaking about so in all fairness to the frame im quite suprised it lasted out a week of alps abuse before it snapped.

was 2nd hand and its a garbanzo guide not a stab so i think it was rental or something.

ya usially garbonzos are rental bikes that they sell after the season

Was actually all in very good nick. only thing even remotly damaged when i got it was the freehub and it was mavic so what you expect.

nice one, you probably got lucky, but i meant structurally it would have been used wayyy more than most bikes

Na Part Scotish prt English mate i think all bikers carry duct tape and cable ties around with them anything can be fixed with them.
