Aye c sur que sa vo etre POD bientot! C'est une des plus belles photos de course que jai vu a date sur PB. Touts les contituants sont parfaites!
dude this vid wouldnt even load on my computer!!!! all i saw was the first frame...it looked like a cool vid from the first frame but it just didnt load and play on my computer...its a SHAME!!!!!

Bennorco121, idiot much? read the description, its says its an HDR, and that means that it is several photos taken at different exposures put together into one photo so the photographer can get the proper exposure on all parts of the photo.
But i have a question for the photographer, How did you get an HDR of a moving Subject? Did you take one proper exposed photo of the rider, then all the photos of the background and made the background an HDR, and just placed the rider on the Background?

Jeff-hurd you can use Hydra that will allow you to make the HDR from a single photo. I've used it and works well. edit the photo for each thing i.e. background, rider. then just put them into the program and it combines them into a HDR.
Its funny that people actually thought bikebuster was being serious and gave him negative props. Y can't people on pinkbike ever take a joke. And I bet I'll get negative props just for saying this.

cuz they asked for neg props. most people give out positive props for that, which is kinda stupid...and you didnt ask, you said something that would get neg props...

Does nothing for me IMO...poor compo....horrible light and the HDR is way too overdone and looks un-natural (Most prob not even a true HDR) Try again.

dont see why its pod though, theres nothing great about the picture, sure they may be some fancy colours but theres no style ar nothing that makes it stand out from any other person riding a DH bike, IMO PODS should be all about the riding and not the photography.

good point but u've gotta understand that some people on this site apreciate good photography and you can't deny this is good.
seeing as it is called PICTURE of the day, i think the picTure part should be just as important, there are tonnes of pictures on here, with great composition and lines etc. that we don't have to have amature photoshops as POD. so i agree with some of what you said, but the only reason why most POD's look so hardcore is cause of how the photographer is capturing it, they are pro's on perspective and make it look good. if you were out there with a camera taking a picture of a same trick, (not this one but in general) it would probably not get POD cause of the riding. cause it would look like crap compared to a pro taking a picture of an amature mediocre rider just because they know what they are doing.
stop getting your nickers in a twist ! if you look i've put that i agree with his comment that the riding isn't great but that dosn't take away from the photo, supose it depends what you prefer more shit pictures of great riding or good pictures of mediocre riding depends how your breads buttered mate. don't get all puffed up about it it's a pice and my veiw at the end of the day

It's a great picture, but HDR is supposed to look like what the human eye sees, not just another way to overprocess a picture. Still, it's a killer pic.
thats an amazing picture for sure but id say its a little too color saturated. still an amazing POD though!
I don't comment on these very often but this photo conveys great movement in a still photo. Nicely done!!

I am going to go against the grain here and show my disdain for the overuse of the attempted HDR effect. Whatever highs are there are blown out and the mids to lows look muddled, to me it just looks, well... bad. I wish I could see what the original looked like.

Nice enough shot, gives a nice perspective of the track, and for a shot of a riders back it works (back shots seldom work)...however it is over photoshopped which is a shame as it would have been nicer if left in it's natural state..a very cool photo but there are better out there
This would look better non-HDR. The lighting of the trees surrounding the rider and bike are way to light and don't match up.

Such a good photo. Great angle. I sort of eyed up the lines like I would if I were riding it without even thinking about it. Looks like SO MUCH FUN! Sainte Anne is always a beautiful course.

Perso j'ai trouvé ca long un peu les updates, décisions et tout.

Ouin dison que c'était pas totalement clair , comme les prix était finalement pas exactement ce qu'ils disaient aussi. Mais entk c'était un excellente idée quand même de faire un contest amateur de photo !! Pour sa je les félicite
A base sur le site du concour sa disais exemple pédalier race face atlas , Vélo devinci district , wheelset easton havoc am pour finalement apprendre que c'était le cadre seulement et non le complete , pas le même pédalier , pas les même roue exactement aussi , mais a ma grand joie c'était en mieu ou presque, j'ai comme choisi le 2ième prix qui avais moin de chose mais que sa m'interessais plus. J'ai gagné une pompe a vélo , des pads race face de downhill , pédalier race face diabolus avec bb , gear , bash , et le wheelset easton havoc DH , donc je suis plus que content dison
