that is so nice, and really good new look
Add a Air Shock, Boxxer World, Thomson Post, Tubeless wheels and tires. Then you get a very very light bike.
onyl comment i really have on this beautiful bike is i think they could of done a "cooler" desgin for "norco" on the bike...
i know function first but when you have a nice bike like this something little like that to make it look better i think they coulda done but really beatiful ride

BigRidah, did you know that a vivid with a Ti Spring is just as light as a air shock if not lighter?
why the hell do you guys care about a really light bike, 40 lbs is pretty good, besides y does the weight matter, your going DOWNHILL, my bike weights 44 lbs and im faster than my friend with the 37 lbs bike so it doesnt matter, and personally i prefer the boxxer team because coil just feels nicer, thats y i run a fox 40
@TooLegit2Quit:
A Fox DHX Air (9.5x3.0") weighs approximately 455g.
A Vivid weighs approximately 462g for the shock body alone, plus either ~500-600g for a steel spring or ~250-300g for an Obtanium ti spring (lightest you can buy).

Next time you try to "stick to what the scale says" you should try sticking to the facts instead!

this bike looks amazing like a cross between the rockymountain flatline and the commencal supreme in my opinion

Looks much beefier than last year's swoops but without the curvy toptube, the standover looks really high. Brule, any chance of geo.s being posted?

OK. Just as ridersplayground1 said, nicer than 2009. but still ugly. And I can't shake off the sad feeling of past Norco mistakes. Pulling from sale their previous models cause of snapping headtube definitely made some riders think twice before buying a Norco bike.
And also, I know Norco 'borrowed' Specialized's FSR but somehow Norcos suspension design never made good impression on me. Just to be clear, I'm talking about aesthetics. I've ridden Norcos and their suspension is doing a terrific job but the look of pivot placements just gives me creeps. The pieces of metal connecting the main pivot with the frame, c'mon...

I'm not a hugh fan of the new frame designs this year with all the bent tubes. That said this is the sickest norco I've seen in a long time!! a very long time.

wow...not to bash Norco...but this bike just looks cheap...just like last years bike too...it did grow on me but you need a bike like the V-10 or M6 that u look at and just say...holy f**k i want that...its good that its cheaper now but still a bike that is $5000 still has to be desireable
