DHX, RC4 RC4, much larger reservoir, and stanchion. much more oil flow, and EXTREME performance increase. definitely worth every penny

nice! how much difference is there between the feel of both of these shocks? i dont know whether to get a dhx 5 or an rc4.

truthfully? the RC4 completely OWNS the dhx. you can tune your shock to any track and any riding style. having high and low speed compression takes getting used to. it also takes the know-how to be able to use it properly. if you don't know what you are doing, then propedal and the DHX is a better shock. if you KNOW what you are doing then the RC4 is hands down top notch. if someone rode my bike in the parking lot they are going to tell me it rides like shit, low speed compression makes it feel funny in a parking lot. but on the trail it can unleash traction you never knew you had.
