Nah, I'm getting a lighter build going for it soon, so it's more AM/freeride oriented instead of DH. This is really overkill for me really, 729s are too much, as are the tyres, stem and forks are too heavy.

So if you want some Mavic EX729 rims...

Yeah I do slopestyle, AM, XC and Dh all on my FR Hardtail and how much would you want for them?

£60 including postage.

Be warned though, they are a DH rim and weigh in at 675g per rim.

Well that's a 2.5 Intense, check my album for a pic of the tyre clearence - there's barely any! It rubbed on the front mech when it was in the granny lol. It also rubbed on the frame when the wheel flexed in corners. A 2.5 Maxxis would probably be fine though.

Do you not miss a chainguide in there?

Nope, I'm running a double and bash, chain has never come off. Have had chain suck, but a chainguide wouldn't have stopped that.

So what's your ridding like then? For me it is like it will pop out every time; and this is with a chainguide.

The main place I ride isn't really that steep or techy, just short runs with jumps and berms, fairly smooth, some little root sections. Nothing too hardcore Razz

No, I mean, it is alright: I'm personally not all what I am cracked up to. I usually go down to Cannock when I'm not at work or potter around my neck of the woods. You live far from them trails then?

No, it's a couple of miles away, takes anything from 15-30 mins depending on how lazy we are Razz. Other better trails are 45mins to an hour away so I can't really be bothered to go there normally.
