I 'read somewhere' that a lot of pro's do it. They just black out the Maxxis labels.

they run Maxxis because they make a better tire. they can't run them normally because there sponsors would freak so they have to black the logo's out. Gee Atherton does the same thing on certain courses even though he is sponsored by Contental for this season.

its actusly strating to get rediculous,but maxxis cant complain they dont want to help pay all these riders travle around,they have a good team and all the other guys use there stuff,they dont have to even pay them to use it.
