  • - 3
flag downhilldro (Jul 29, 2009 at 11:49)
that would be the sid though the travel does look long

omg that bike is gorgeous!

flag rudy87 (Jul 29, 2009 at 11:56)
thats definitely not a Sid. no Sid Ive ever seen has a 20mm thru axe and stantions that large. maybe its just a test bed for something new?

flag domino0 (Jul 29, 2009 at 13:57)
possibly, it definitely has SID graphics, maybe a lyric, or maybe a new prototype long travel ultralight weight SID :S

flag calum1more (Jul 29, 2009 at 14:42)
It might be the 2010 150mm revelation ??
  • + 1
flag calum1more (Jul 29, 2009 at 14:48)
on second thoughts that looks a bit longer than 150mm. Anyone know what forks?

flag rudy87 (Jul 29, 2009 at 20:56)

flag race4pinks (Jul 29, 2009 at 22:54)
rideayeti, I've been looking at the picture and maybe ive been staring at it too long but the crown looks off on the fork. Then again it is 1:00am

What does the cable running to the seatpost do?
  • + 5
flag stever (Jul 29, 2009 at 11:33)
The seatpost is a remotely operated adjustable seatpost. You can change the height of you seat on the fly for varying terrain (ie. up for climbs, down for descents).

I'm curious how those wheels run on rough trails... they look badass but kinda sketchy
  • + 1
flag downhilldro (Jul 29, 2009 at 11:53)
they run the same lacing for the dh/fr version, i would imagine it would have to be pretty strong

those would be crankbrothers wheels
  • + 1
flag kev-roberts (Jul 29, 2009 at 13:25)
ive heard the DH versions are both super strong and super light, not heard much of the xc/am wheels
  • + 2
flag cneums (Jul 29, 2009 at 15:26)
the fr/dh wheels are heavier and stronger than the AM and XC wheels, those right there are iodines, the AM wheelset, but like someone said, they're the same and they're both pretty strong because of the lacing design.
  • + 1
flag kev-roberts (Jul 29, 2009 at 15:31)
yeah, arent the nipples like half way along the spoke or somethin, and the whole wheel set is cnc'd from aluminium ?
  • + 1
flag camdenthekid (Jul 29, 2009 at 15:52)
i know a guy who ran those iodines for slalom and said they held up great

Looks looks looks. You kids aren't probably lookers yourselves, but at a reasonable price and the specs it's probably worlds better than your dirt jumper.

One of them bikes I'd love to own in theory, but in reality I'd just be embarrassed that I spent THAT much money on a single bike that isn't much/any better than something that cost a third of the price.

Shame, but definately a fat-man mid-life crisis bike
