Well i didnt even read Cynix's whole paragraph but considering how lengthy it is and seeing how much time it would have even taken to reply to someone regarding POD as not worthy in such a manner as this deserves a prop. And if that isn't a run on sentence i don't know what is. Oh and by the way, Beautiful photograph and well deserving of picture of the day.

All in all, a very good pod. i think this is a better pod because it shows some photography skill to take a photo with so many elements of artistic ability, rather than a snap shot of a big huck. nice photo, and it works well in B&W, looks nice and raw.

i like how suicidedownhiller always starts this shit with his opinion, i think we need to realize that all peoples opinion although equal, are not always equally valuable. i mean he says he doesn't like it yada yada, same ole shit just a different day really, downs't do it for him, but you look at his pictures and he has a few pics of just some stuff really, but Ru a couple posts up gives his view of the picture, he likes it, good composition, nice touch with the B&W and yada yada., now Ru is an amature photographer, and takes some pretty decent stuff. so although everyone opinion is equal, some hold greater value. I think beofre we waste time posting e0fights look at who your arguing worth and see if it's worth it, you can't change someones opinion.

Amazing POD!! IDK if there are no tricks in this photo it makes a damn good pic anyways just from the way everthing looks... a POD is a pick that looks really clear and that has been edited/taekn really well and this is one of them!

no that's just it,m you guys think you can just take a picture like this, there is more to a pic than what you guys see, see how the close trees and far trees are blurry, that is focal range. there is lots of key things that make this a good picture The composition, the USE of B&W which is hard to do, i consider this more of a lifestyle portrait, osrry it's not hucking huge, but it makes me want to get off my ass, out of work and go shred with my buddies. you rpictures look like you grabbed your point and shoot and tried to get your buddy in the frame. there is more to POD than the trick ONCE AGAIN EVErYDAy we go through this.

this pod would be way harder to shoot. your would be easily done witha flood light and a point and shoot. there is no composition, no launch, no landing, no diversity, big air.. THAT IS IT!

the reason why i like that picture so much is because the rider seems to be comming out of nowhere and it is totally dark but the rider is bright as day

hahahaha what he said^^ you need to respect the photo not diss it, if you could take a photo like that you would know the time and effort spent trying to get it perfect, it aint easy getting a photo like that as you might think. photography is a form of art and therefore it should be appreciated like a painting, yes it is easy to take photos because it is so accesible, and alot easier than painting, but the point is it still takes time effort and money to get good shots like this that have the same visual impact. if you stand back and look at this photo for 10 minutes you can see past what is there, you can imagine going out and riding in that very same spot, you can picture your self doing this. you can't do that with a snap shot of a jump and someone in mid air, not with the same effect. you are taking away the the raw skill and effort put into taking this photo and future photos if you stick with your mind-set, open your mind and appreciat stuff, rather than disregarding it. oh and one more thing negative critacizam doesn't help anyone, positive criticizam helps everyone

Thanks, and i think if you are going say something to a negative effect at least brush it up. say something like "i like this pic cause it makes me want to go ride, but it seems like it is kind of lacking in the action department", it's called constructive critisim, it tells them what you liked and disliked about the photo giving them something to build off to take better more crowd pleasing photos. but i think that this is a sick pic so everyone else can eff off. I'mg glad to see something a little different as POD. they have been mixing it up a bit which keeps me happy.
