buying bikes that world cup racers ride is risky cos there given the bike it means they dont give a shit if it breaks so thy push it to the max and on a world cup wk end more than often crack or break some thing on the frame,

im after 1 of these and soon as i see ex atherton bike i dont want it.........

i totaly agree here with jackgolfgti the frames and parts have been pushed to the max off these riders and there could be micro cracks in a few places. and if it is true they have a practice bike and a race bike these are mor than likeley to be the practice bike which means they have been thrashed and crashed down so many world cup tracks. but on the other hand they have been stripped down every weekend and cleaned etc had new parts on if they are slightley faulty and maintained by the best mechanics in the world so you know your bying a well looked after bike. so i would say i would buy a ex wrld cup racers bike because if they can ride them and feel safe that they arnt going to snap im sure the normaly average joe rider will find it very hard to snap. + i would say about 3000 to 3500 like mist others Smile

good job its only been on a photo shoot then eh jack?secondly its the third bike ive had directly from the family,and third what makes you think that a top end rider wouldnt notice his bike was cracked especially on a world cup run,then sell it on????just after opinions on here lads the bike afterall is only worth to me what i payed for it,as i am not getting rid yet.cheerz for all the posotive opinions lads
