ya but at one point they had mavic is what i'm saying that's like being given a ferari and then they take it away and give you a civic lol
well they have sponsors or whatever so they get deals to go with sun rims thats how it works i guess mavic used to be the suplier,its not like they downgrade on purpose.

how do you figure that? 40's are £1400 new, and then you have this years Fox 40 World cups.. that are STILL better then these!
you rode the 2010 40's... i doubt it very much, they have whole new internals, and F.I.T cartridge system
considering all fox 40's are different and all set-up different how can you possibly comment, with different springs for different rider weight, different rebound and compression adjustments?

Does Kona even have a R and D dept. ? The Staab hasn't changed much since 1999 , I would never buy one of those prehistoric bikes.
tell that to norco last year.. changed head angle and fcuked everything upp resulted in frames having to be returned and a fix being made!
Love the Boxxer upgrade from the 888's. Yes the Price is steep but i got my 08 deluxe for under half the retail price, it was brand new just sat in storage for a year, my advice is to buy last years and you'll never pay full price again. But really is there much of a price difference between bike companies, they're all expensive no matter what you buy. If you're gonna pay that much, buy the bike that fits your riding style and body type the best, stop looking at the name on it!!! unless you're a pro, we all just do it for fun anyways.
new demo is 5500. i would be hard pressed to find a better production race bike spec'd like that for that price.
