Optical illusion. With 3,700 vertical feet of down, there is no room for uphill.

Yeah, it's funny. I never noticed until you said it. Now I can totally see it looks uphill. It's like a Rubin's vase: do you see a vase or a face? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubin_vase
