that look like a cheaper version of the 88, that one is probably the lesser expensive version, the reason i say this is because look at the component spec, i dont think trek would put a dhx 4 on there best bike??? or a long cage x.9, or the elixir r....

This one is about to retail at 3499 euro in Europe...

The Session 88 will raise to a retail of 4999 in Europe instead of 4299 last year.

This is going to be called the Session 8, its the cheaper version of the 88.

You know if there is any difference on the frame than on the Session 88? Somehow I feel like it is not the same but I´m not sure about that.

As far as I know nothing special changed, but so far I only have these pictures and the MSRP/retail prices...

I went down to the Trek Dealer here today and checked if there is any difference in these two frames... As far as I could see these two are the same frames. But one thing I noticed is: This bike looks so much better in the Trek catalog than here on the internet. (Better picture).

So far I have no clue. According to the specs it shouldn't be far away from the weight of the last years Session's.
