Well Codes are rediculously strong, like they'll stop you no matter what. There very durable aswell, i crash alot lol and they've never broken on me they can take alot of abuse, mostly because what there made out of. The adjustibilty is great aswell. The saints have the adjustability aswell and could stop a train but there made out of plastic( the outside casing and lever ) so there not as durable as the codes if you were to crash or hit them against something. There both amazing brakes, but if you want a little more durability then i say codes but, personal preference. 
there actually pretty durable, ive hit them off soo many trees its not even funny, and if they do happen to break, they are really good on warrenting there components
cubsrtbest i have elixirs...not the best for dh..lots of power but would be better suited for dj/4x or all mountain riding
