with one, it happend 3 times,
The first i was at work, inasuntly making a number late the BANG, i droped the plate and one guy screamed and the other droped the phone when they he was talking to a custumer.

second and third i was running around the garden with my fingers in my ears ( i thought i could put new tubes in and get away with it and i didn't and tryed it again with utter stupidity, LOL

i got the new one for a discount £28.

So overal they were loud bangs!

Tesco tubes! ahah no wonder, and at 100 psi damn. When I had my cap, I ran Maxxis Welterweights at 60psi, that was enough for me.

I don't know, maybe just run some strong DH/FR tubes and run them fairly high, i.e. 90-110psi.
