LOL, ghetto. If Mike Montgomery wasn't the man, I would say something along the lines of "have you met my good friend hollow bolt?"

But since it is Mike's, I will just call it Ghetto. .......Have Fun!

thats pretty much how every pro threads their front cable these days, ben boyko, ryder kasprick to name a couple. it works

Fair enough, but they have hollow bolts for exactly that purpose. Looks far less ghetto.

ya but the cable dosent spin around as easy during a fast bar spine so the route it through a bigger hole

but the problem is with hollow bolts is if you're running hydraulic brakes, you have to cut the hose every time you want to take your fork off

Wouldn't you have to take the cable off this way anyways? Neither the lever or caliper will fit through. IMHO, hollow-bolts look cleaner and therefore they win.

"henrytgreene" you are wrong. That is all.

Jeff, you hit the nail on the head. Good idiot hunting. tup

the hose fittings don't fit through the starnut though. or at least mine don't

Then you have retarded parts. I've never had issues on any of my bikes.

i just cut a hole in my headlock. it works perfectly and you don't have to pound a starnut in

if you where doing a fast barspin with a hollow bolt it wouldnt make a difference. the front brake cable and lever are spinng nothing is rotating so it doesnt make a difference

You try landing a 30ft drop, or overshooting a huge jump and attempting to slam on the brakes with only a rear. It doesn't end well
