The opium wheels I've only had for a week, so far they seem fine - they seem stronger than my old fr2350's that were made of cheese!

The front is a Michelin DH32 Tubeless Tribes 2.8 tyre and the rear is a Michelin 24a (i think), tubless 2.5 tyre. The tyres are not mine, i borrowed them from a friend for just now. The rear shock is a new rc4, the fork is a 2008 40rc2, i just sprayed them black and put some new decals on.

Does anybody know what tyres are good for all conditions but mainly wet, rooty, rocks (I live in scotland). I was thinking minions, or intense intruders?

I have always used michelins but they havnt produced any new tyres for ages and you never see them on the world cup circuit anymore. I'm looking for something new - maybe conti's, is there anybody out there using them and can let me know what you think?

I used my dads fishing scales and it weighed 34.8ld without pedals. That's with inner tubes, heavy tyres and steel rear shock spring though so could be lighter.

yeh, maybe. But compared to my old M3 it's great actually being able to get it of the ground easily.
