beacon fell, around fulwood and ingol area in heavily wooded areas that have been built, penwortham DH. Im heading up to north wales this weekend to have a bash on it, just need to get the friggin chain guide fitted! had problems with the spacers and what not. Only owning it for 2 days i havent been to the local places i have wanted to go at the moment. But me and my friends will be heading up to beacon fell soon.

And may I add, about the videos one was with me on the saracen mantra one year ago, and it was a purposeful bail if you read the description. My second video was to test my camera and editorial equipment and at that time i did not have my meta as it was back at merlin again, and i only recored at a quick local run near my house due to the time it took to film each part do the run again and then film etc.
Also, whilst using my meta i blew the rear shock 3 times from doing drops and i could not be bothered with having to take the bike back to the shop again and again. So i stripped it and sold parts from it, and i was intending on get a supreme mini dh 2009 frameset, i got a quote of the price from another lbs of £2000+! and i saw this on ebay and it was a steal for 1850 and i still have lots of money to spare.

Yes i know, that was extremely annoying, each time ive been or intended on going they have been destroyed again Frown eh well make do with what we have now as no-one can be building there now as we have seen the rangers reaction to it. And with a friend of mine being injured there, i guess they destroyed them this time round so they dont get sued or anything like that or liable for damages and stuff like that.

You need to have a meeting with the head ranger really.
Explain what benefit the trails would have, agree to put up signs saying something along the lines of 'Ride at your own risk, so and so will accept no responsibility for injuries'

With the right signage, not leaving rubbish, not cutting trees and building everything to a good quality im sure youd be able to resume building and riding there.

yep, mojoloz made a dedicated thread about it, and the rangers are watching whats going on in the thread. I do agree with your idea, we should speak to the head ranger.

i disagree with these allogations, if u have a passion for the sport, and enjoy it, then you should be free to get whatever bike you want, regardless of skill levels

Agreed, i bought the meta for the wrong reasons. As within a couple of months of owning it I wanted to go bigger than what the bike could handle. And rob terri-hot lmaoo (as boldy would say) and are you up for wales? im definately going.

Very true but then what's the point on wasting money on a bike when you could get a cheaper one that would still be perfect for your riding level.

Btw you need a chain guide.

lovely bike mate, if my mini dh ever snaps, the supreme dh is going to have to be the one to get for me! i had huge problems with my LG1, i found that the spacing was horrible! i ended up using a BB mount and then spacing it out about 1.5mm from the mount. i then had to chop bits of the upper guide because it was fouling the inside of the crank arm and the spider as well. i'm more than happy to get some photos of the setup if it will help. once again, fantastic build. and what are those pedals??

flag preston-rider (Aug 28, 2009 at 10:12)
hi, im having problems with my lg1 at the moment its just wont fit! (its the 09 machined one) i doubt your mini will snap tup those pedals are wellgo mg-1s super light-weight you can notice the difference when you take your old pedals off and feel the weight. they come in a variety of sexual colours i may upgrade them with a ti axle.

thanks for the feedback Smile

flag preston-rider (Aug 28, 2009 at 10:13)
the furious was too much hastle to get. I sold off bits of my meta and i was about to buy an 09 mini but this came on ebay and got it for a steal at 1850 without my upgrades. i.e. saint and sunline etc.
