Wow, what a small rotor. What's the deal there? Does he just find the calipers so powerful that a small rotor is less grabby?

no, just they're in canberra...flat track
many riders go with semi slick tires at the rear, or short travel bikes like hill and fairclough. gee rides with a special rp2 air shock, that he can lock

Yo, to Milan89ers, Canberra is NOT a flat track, i know well because i do live here, its bumpy, ragged and loose as anything, if you rode semi slicks on stromlo, you would topple over many a time

yeah its not a flat track, but the end section is very flat and pedally so that why gee and others are using lock-out rear shocks. Also alot of the riders have opted for lighter bikes as the course is pretty short and only rough in certain sections and not very long

dirtjumper005, 'if you rode semi slicks on stromlo, you would topple over many a time' maybe if YOU rode semi slicks you wouls topple over, but manyof the pros are running semi slicks, so enough said.
