WOW!
yea that can't be 1 1/8th, but 1.5 is not bad it will keep it strong up front, looks like a very solid frame, just wait till martin is ripping it up with one of these! should be seeing him riding this frame soon, can't wait
1.5" HT means you can run a zerostack headset, getting the front end lower and steeper, which when combined with big barz means more t-down room. And it looks a lot cleaner.
eurobike. I found them on some random forum website. I only found 2 other pics. One of the new NS fixie. I figure i'll give someone else a chance. And the 2010 rotary (already uploaded)
ye. those t-downs. Was just a guess. I don't know why people like low forks and high bars but a 1.5" headtube and zero-stack headset is a step in that direction.
lamacycles has all the 2010 stuff on there except the soda frame...and the analog frame/fork haha...which makes me lol.
they really stepped up their game this year!~

Thanks for that, Einstein. It drops the headtube lower which steepens the head angle and gives more top tube room for turndowns when you put higher bars on.
steepening the head angle doesn't mean that it steepens it on the frame. bringing the bars further from the top tube, just means steeper on the geo, get it right. zero stack headsets on a frame as high as this aren't the right direction to go if you want nice turndowns, and yes, i do know what i'm talking about.
So...the headtube rotates itself? Bullshit. Steepening the head angle in this case drops the top tube. I don't give a shit about turndowns, it was an example. Now you're just not making sense.
tbh i recon the dobermann soft tail looks alot better and more well desighned but the ns is good as well they just got to sort some things out on it but its there first try so well done
how are you gonna run ss on this....
blackmarket and dobermann have a bb pivoting system but this dont haha

1 huge flaw in the design that i can see so far is the problems with running single speed. the shock pivot is not around the bottom bracket.

you can run any 1 1/8th headtube on a 1 1/5th. most headsets have spacers you put in. for example i run a 1.8th boxxer team on a bike with a 1.5 headtube. all i needed was a special spacer to bring the FSA pig headset small enough for the fork.
When U have a 1.5 head tube U can fit any fork U want, either via spacers, or just a headset with reduction cups. The best thing with 1.5 HT is that there is a bigger welding area what basicaly means that the critical down tube area close to HT in 1.5 will be always stronger than in 1, 1/8". The only downside of this standard is that it's hard to get a good 1.5 stem at a reasonable price - but that's the relict of the past, as nowadays we have tapered tubes which are absolutely flawless...

yeah wtf is 1 1/5 lol

the correct terminology is 1 1/5th. as in 1 inch and 1/5th of an inch. though peoples shorten it too 1.5 and 1.8. if you get a ruler out 1.8 is bigger then 1.5, when on bikes, its the opposite.
hurray for the maths. 1 1/5th"=1.2" and nobody has ever heard of a steerer diameter like that. The standard is 1 1/8th"=1.125". Nobody shortens anything to 1.5 with steerer diameters, that is a 1 inch and a half 1.5 number which relates to a size of 1 and a half inch steerer, as simple as that... Boys boys boys...
Pretty sweet, but if they want to get in with the compition (Blk Mrkt, Dartmoor and Dob), then they should have put the pivot around the BB IMO.
agreed, but at the same time this solution is cheaper. I'm sure they will develop BB pivot soon, but the only reason for doing so is the single speed compatibility. Every other aspect of BB pivot sucks comparing to regular pivot location.
im likin the style, but the head tube is a lil short for my likings.....they should build a couple diferent bikes up like this to show wat the frame looks like with diferent parts, considering its a brand new model n they wanna get it out there
no its great they have a fully now, everyone wants a bit of travel sometime and it'l be great for their team riders needing a bike for the big slopestyle courses these days i.e. Soderstrom had to ride was it a Cove? at this years Crankworx to be able to make it through the course. I'l bet this will be just as dialled as the NS hardtails just with that extra little bit of travel
ya, i saw that after i posted... but that top link looks similar to a lower link on a mojo. and it looks kinda like it has a lower link, but i looked at it again, and saw that it didnt.
ya probably. that would make sense, as its a ss bike... i think in a ss bike, the suspension is really only there to soften up the big hits.
aparently the one that martin Soderstrom will ride is going to be even better and more organised to his riding style
i dont like the way the downtube is bent by the head tube. if it was straight it would look amazingly sick
