Cro-mo doesn't mean shit to me. lol. Looks like it would snap at the seatpost like my brodie did

Brodies are garbage imo. Fireeye makes hardcore tough street/dj frames. They wouldn't let something out of the shop if it wasn't tough as nails.

dunno if i like the integrated headset though, on a frame that is going to be taking some big hits with a longer fork. just my 2cents

It's not integrated? Fireeye will spec all their own parts on it and they don't produce integrated headsets, only the IRIS X and IRIS XL.

Also I'm pretty sure the fork is meant for a 100-120mm fork as it's only a 4-4.5" travel frame.

Yeah, I know its not integrated, It looks like it will snap right above the BB.

I doubt it. All their rigs are like that. Spitfire
Cro-mo rigs are like that in general, actually.

Well, I'd break it. Cause I'd hit a 30 ft drop on it lol. But if it's strong enough, sweeeet frame. EEEEEKkkk Scary skinny tubing on that HT

You would be fine as long as it wasn't to flat.
It's a SLOPESTYLE bike, it's meant for going big and doing gnarly tricks.

And not really, it's bigger tube than most street bikes...

I am smooth. 40 ft drops and 20 ft drops I do to flat are not. lol

Alright. Be... smarter... and not do such things on a slopestyle bike. Wink

I kid I kid, hahaha.

looks too simple to be a good suspension design to me. The rear wheel will arc in alot when the bike goes through its travel. I don't see the benefit in this design

is this for ss? if so then it might not be too bad

Of course it's for slopestyle.
Did you just diss all single pivot bikes? Oh snap.

flag brandonf (Sep 13, 2009 at 11:03)
it's fine for ss, but for DH, I couldnt see a single pivot design being anywhere near as good as other designs

It depends entirely on the angles and geo and design.

Evil Revolt is a single pivot. All Orange bikes are single pivot. Most Transitions are single pivot.

thats true about the orange, but transitions and the evil revolt have more to them than just a basic single pivot.

It's still single pivot though. Same kinda wheel path.
