curtis is right. more specifically tho it is known as High Density Polyethylene (HDPe) it is moldable to any shape, form, or structure you can think of. Mostly tho it is made into fake wood for decks and other such things you can make from wood like GIANT WALL RIDES Smile. the advantage of HDPe is it lasts 30-35 years longer than wood, which if taken care of and treated properly can lasts years on its own, without any treatment and minimal care.

Why is it made out of planks of plastic, and not planks of wood.It seems to me that if it ever got wet it would be trecherous unless 'dhrunner' means rubberised plastic,a bit like what you would see on a resin ramp, only more grippy for outdoor use.
But it could have easily been made out of wood and turned into a permanent fixture, cos it looks like a mint piece of trail to me,imagine the possibilities if it was permanent.
Anyway it's a nice piece of kit whatever the sitch is with it.Anyway happy trails Mammoth locals, ya lucky bas.......Ha-Ha.

they leave it up all winter. the thing is mostly built of metal so snow wont affect it. yea you can snowboard it all winter long

It's probably buried in the winter though. 10+ feet (3.1 m) of snow isn't uncommon at all...

in the winter when snow falls on it the snow can rot the wood, that is why its made of plastic
