1800 is a fair price its end of season and everything around every town is blowing out 1850 is max for this

dude, i would pay a lot more then 1800 for that beast, one of the best park bikes ever.
these bikes kick f*cking ass and easily will give anything new a run for it's money.
may be heavy, but all the weight is in the right spot, low and in the center. so it handles like a little bike but carries it's speed through the rough better then anything these days.
f*cking kick ass bike dude.

does the boxxer fork require lots of maintenance ?

In Whistler, probably the hardest place on a fork on Earth, I changed the oil monthly and the seals twice over the summer. I am actually supplying both the air cartridge and a coil (effectively making it a Team)which is in the fork just now. Making it lower maintenance, all be it, less adjustment.
