dunno if you remember me, but i finally got a chainguide on mine btw
i dont get out on it enough though... which sucks
fair play, i probably should have got one of them instead but nevermind lol, the raceface one was £80 but came with a snazzy bashguard
lol well i got new cranks and they came with one
, and before i had a black spire bash, that were only 24quid...i think
if you can afford it, get some raceface evolve dh cranks some time, i got some used for £60 inc chainring and BB almost brand new and they're awesome
sounds like a good deal, but id prob get some slx's or xt deores next time, loving the shimanio crank axel.
yeh, it does not have enough travel, if i carry on with this bike i will just kill it, so want to sell before any thing bad happens and get a more DH race dedicated bike, still a bomb prof bike.
yeh, reason i want a 222/223 is that i pretty much as exact same geo just more travel, and thats all i want.
yeah thats fair enough, get the 223 if you can, it has an inch or two more travel, you can pick the frames up pretty cheap too
im looking at a 222 frame that is down the road (well only just the other side of the DH spot) which is a good deal just gotta shift this frame!
ahhh sweet, yeah patriot frames can be a bugger to shift, i ended up trading mine for the scott (mint deal), stick it on ebay 99p no reserve and it will go
hummm but tbh i need to garente that i get enough money from this frame as i have no other money really so id be stuck if it didn't sell for enough
yeah i've heard nothing but good about them, so i figure i can't go wrong. A bit heavier than the manitous, but hopefully worth it.
i know first hand that the dampening cartridge in the pike is awesome!
and well manitou has a bad rep, i reckon the weight gained on you bike will be worth it, the lock out really does work well.

yeah, i had some toras and they were great for the money, so i'm expecting the pikes to be even better!
ah yeh, tbh when i ride them i was doing a bit of light DH on them for a couple of runs (swopped bikes for a couple of runs) felt great for a short travel single crown, very stiff, you will not be disappointed.
