Thanks fellas. I play all sorts of styles. Rock/R&B/Pop. Try to stay current with lots of styles because I like to do session work.

Nice man, I am also a fan of big kits! I was going to get a Starclassic Maple but got a really good offer on my current kit. Have you bust the Iron Cobra's yet? I'm heavy footed and heel up, bust then twice so far...

thanks man. i love the evans G2 clears. The Iron Cobra's have held up great. I've also got a single pedal version that I got when they first came out. I've had nothing but great performance from them. I've actually worn the foot smooth believe it or not. I was able to get the Starclassic Maple was the result of a relationship with a local shop because I'm pretty active in the Toronto music sceen. I also use some ludwig brass snares. Love those alot.

Nice, I love Ludwig black beauties!! I use a Mapex Deep forrest Walnut 13" x 5" snare and the same 8" - 16" tom set up but my kisk is a 22" x 20". I use to use Gibraltar Intruder pedals but switched to the Iron Cobra when I changed kits.. Are the G2's the oil filled heads?

Awesome. I really like the sound of that walnut snare. I was thinking of picking one up. The G2's are just the standard clear heads. I have used the Hydrolix (i think that's how they spell them...maybe not). I used them for a heavy rock act. They sound pretty heavy and cut most of the overtones. A little extreme for what I normally do, but pretty cool. I also used the control edge Evans for a pop group. Those were impressive. They even have a somewhat coated centre. I'm gonna miss the kit, while I'm in Southampton for the next couple years. Gonna have to buy a Roland V-kit I think.
