Just though I'd upload some old pics of a dh frame I designed on CAD a while ago - pics are unfinished and missing axle, mech hanger, bearings e.t.c. I made all the parts in CAD, but never finished adding them to this model for rendering. - Just wondered what you guys thought of the aesthetics on the design/lines of the frame

looks nice the back can be holed out some i think because thats the only thing thats kinda chunky looking but it looks great!

cheers man - this was just a draft really, some extra weight loss and strengthening could always be done on the links, rear triangle and main triangle side panels - thanks for the feedbacktup

anytime ill be glad to give feedback Big Grin what program do u use? i have many designs that i am going to start building here soon but i need to CAD them out.

this was done using Solid Edge, but the initial 2D outlay of the kinematics and geometry was done using DeltaCAD, which is a fairly basic but useful 2D CAD program

thanks! im going now to get those haha! I was going to try to use solidworks but ill see how this solidedge works out for me. thanks for the info
